Can I bring more people than my wedding invite mentions?

Answer

No. While we appreciate your desire to want to include more people, our wedding venue is a historic Victorian-era house and grounds that has strict maximum occupancy limits from the Fire Marshall.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Our wedding will be in the Bay Area in October, and will be partially outdoors (Ceremony in the afternoon, Dinner until near sunset) and partially indoors (evening Reception). October in San Rafael is usually nice weather with temperatures having highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s with a low chance of rain. High temperatures in the 80s are possible.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of parking available in the parking lot at the venue (Falkirk Cultural Center, parking lot entrance is at the intersection of Mission Street and E Street). For those out-of-town guests staying at the AC Hotel by Marriott, it's a five minute walk from the hotel to the Falkirk Cultural Center.

Are the Ceremony and Reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, but for your reference please note that the venue is located on a hill.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding Ceremony will be outdoors. Dinner will be outdoors on an uncovered Veranda with the Reception continuing indoors. In the rare event of rain, Dinner will be moved indoors.

How will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Food will be served buffet style. There will be an open bar with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available.
