Plaza Mijares/San Jose Del Cabo Main Square
Located a quick 5 minute ($7 taxi) ride away, Plaza Mijares or San Jose del Cabo Main Square has it all. There are several modern art galleries, artisan shops, restaurants, street art and more. It’s the perfect place to go for souvenirs or to get the true “feel” of San Jose del Cabo.
La Lupita Taco & Mezcal
Taqueria and Mezcaleria, located in the heart of the Art District in Downtown San Jose del Cabo, B.C.S. This is a family-friendly restaurant and they take reservations.
Flora Farms
Yummy spot for lunch and a beautiful garden to walk around. It's about a 10-minute drive from the Cabo Azul Hotel. Grab a taxi and head here for lunch or dinner!
La Mexicana Restaurant y Cantina
Craving tacos? This spot is conveniently located across the street from the Cabo Azul. Good place to grab breakfast or lunch.
La Comer La Cascada
Local supermarket. It's about a 15 min walk from Cabo Azul. Cheapest place to stock up on alcohol/water/snacks. The Cabo Azul also has a market & a Starbucks located directly inside the hotel (most convenient) but it's more expensive. ($5 beer vs $1 at local supermarket).
Cabo Sailing
Rent a catamaran for a few hours! 3 hr trip for sailing/snorkeling and seeing the famous arches. Prices are around $75 pp with lite lunch, open bar..etc
Costa Azul Surf
Rent a surfboard or book a lesson with these guys. Super friendly and they will meet you at the beach attached to the Cabo Surf Hotel.
The Office
This is casual dining at its best: a beachfront joint with tables right in the sand. The food is decent but it's the view that will make you never want to leave. Bonus points if you hang around and go to Mango Deck before or after! Fyi it's about a 30 min taxi ride into downtown Cabo.
