Formal wear for those who will be at the ceremony as well as those who plan to be in pictures. Otherwise, please dress comfortably as the weather permits and bring a swimsuit and towel for the public beach. Reminder: as is customary for western weddings, please refrain from wearing white - although accessories that are white are acceptable!

Due to the facility limitations - you will need to check with us! For many people, we have already planned for you to already bring a date :)
Please RSVP as soon as possible! The sooner the better. The later your RSVP, the harder it will be to plan for you to be there, and the less space to allow for you to join us despite us wanting you there. If you have to wait till closer to, PLEASE no later than June 1st.
NO! Please do not bring your own alcohol - we will provide some alcohol for those who are able to drink during dinner. If you have any recommendations of either beers or wines, please let us know! After the reception is cleaned up in the evening, those who wish to keep the party going, will have the opportunity to join the newlyweds at Babe's Hometown Bar in Lakeville, MN. You will have to pay for your own drinks and food. Please plan a sober ride!
You can smoke, but please be aware that there may be designated smoking areas that might be further away from where the Ceremony or Reception is. For those who are invited to the ceremony, please refrain from smoking in the area despite it being outside since it is at a nature reserve - there may be a designated spot. For those who will be attending the reception, please do not smoke inside the building or near the building. We will notify everyone of designated smoking spots along with maps of the area so that we all know what is happening and where to go.
Aspen is Alex. They are nonbinary and will be changing their name completely to Aspen Hedtke after being married. You may also hear Arson as a reference for Alex - both Aspen and Arson are appropriate to use. Arson may still be referred to as Alex by certain family members - as this is completely new news to them or already have a hard time with names.
Due to the capacity limitations of the venue - we cannot invite everyone to attend. Due to this, we are only able to invite very close family members. For those who are not able to attend (due to the capacity limitations or other life circumstances), we will provide a livestream link so you can watch and celebrate with us
You can reach out to us to see what can be done - but please be aware that we may ask you to bring your own food just so that we don't accidentally serve you something you can't have! We want to make sure that you have a safe and fun time.
