a grateful union

Matthew and Kacie met in July of 2017 in Scranton, PA camping on the side of Montage Mountain at a music festival. While injured and separated from his friends on the last night of the weekend, Matthew literally stumbled upon Kacie in her hammock. They bonded over their love of live music, nature, cartoons, and, most importantly, silliness.

Matthew proposed to Kacie in July of 2019 at the Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT after sunset. Their favorite band, "Twiddle," was playing Kacie's favorite song and Matthew surprised her with a ring. After years of adventures, laughter, and many core memories, they are excited to celebrate with you all!!
