The Wedding Website of Kellie Smith and Sarah Arroyo
♥ Introducing our loved ones who will be an integral part of our day

Tommy Malek

Best Man

Tommy has been Sarah’s best friend and met at Speech and Debate when they were 14 years old. Tommy moved to Los Angeles after graduating high school, attending UCLA, and has lived there ever since. Tommy and Sarah have taken so many adventures together, usually never leaving the state of NJ. When Tommy met Kellie, it was intimidating because everyone knows Sarah and Tommy are a team. But since meeting, the duo has become a trio, and they have already begun adventuring together. Kellie and Sarah are excited to have selected him as best man. Fun Fact: Tommy didn’t listen to music much until Sarah (and probably others) encouraged him to! They still share music with one another.

Rebecca Bludgus

Maid of Honor

Rebecca and Sarah have known each other for nearly 10 years now. The two have been through their most formative years together, and have grown into adults together. Sarah and Rebecca have supported each other through major life changes and challenges but share a sense of humor about it all. When Rebecca met Kellie, they became close quickly. So close that Kellie took Rebecca to help pick out Sarah’s ring, and made her a key to the house. Kellie and Sarah are excited to have selected her as maid of honor. Fun Fact: The NY Mets + ⚾️ + 🌭 = Rebecca

Erica Norris

Bridesmaid

Kellie’s best girl cousin! They share countless cherished family memories, including standing by her side as one of her bridesmaids in 2014. We can count on her for an honest, witty approach. She has a sense of humor that she got from Kellie's Aunt and their late Grandma Sylvia. Kellie has always admired her persistence in becoming a nurse and doing what she loves. Her smile is infectious and immediately brightens up your day. Fun fact: she’s also a proud cat lover of her 2 cats Ollie (Monkey) and Sophie (Tuna)

Laura Gallas

Bridesmaid

Sarah's cousin. Sarah and Laura share a mutual love for caffeine, music, and all things theater. Laura is a few years younger than Sarah, and as they grew up, the distance began to feel like less and less. In the last few years, Sarah and Laura have taken some adventures together, including Sarah and Kellie's engagements! Laura was there when Sarah proposed, and took photos. Fun fact: ask her if the song the DJ is playing has been on Glee.

Angie Ortiz

Bridesmaid

Sarah met Angie in high school, and they have since grown into the people that they are alongside each other. Angie and Sarah have always shown up for each other, no matter where they were physically, and have built a beautiful friendship on unconditional love and support. When Angie met Kellie, there was no doubt that they would get along because Kellie brought new light to Sarah's life. The three of them continue to grow as a team, and support each other through all of life's difficulties. Fun Fact: Angie is an incredibly talented artist.

Vienna DiFlumeri

Bridesmaid

Countless parties, sushi rolls, and road trips are how Kellie bonded with Vienna. Vienna loves with her whole heart and keeps high-stress environments grounded and under control. Her bubbly, warm spirit is sure to bring comfort to both animals and people. Because of this, Vienna and Sarah got along quickly, and became friends with ease! Fun fact: Yes she is named after the song— not the sausage, or the capital city. The love of Billy is the ice breaker that started this wonderful friendship.

Rachel Howell

Bridesmaid

Although this friendship is pretty new, when ya know, ya know! But dang, this girl is funny. She makes the whole room want to get up and dance. Interacting with Rachel, who exudes so much confidence, makes you confident too. Vienna, our other bridesmaid/Rachel's partner, really knows how to pick them. The Brides are excited to have gotten closer with Rachel in the past few years! Fun fact: she owns a pet named Valentino aka Tino, who is a Argentine black and white tegu. Tegus can get up to 5 feet long!

Marisa Ortner

Bridesmaid

Sarah and Marisa met in college, and have been on each other's team ever since. Marisa is a wonderful friend who has a comforting essence to help you through even the toughest of times. Marisa has many talents and novels worth of stories to tell. When Kellie and Marisa met, they got along without much difficulty, and became family pretty quickly. Marisa is mother of our wonderful Flower Girl: Antonio. Fun fact: Marisa can cook. Like REALLY cook.

Sherry Smith

Mother of the Bride

Kellie's mom. Her selflessness and giving nature has always influenced Kellie to be the best person she could be. Sherry will support anyone who needs a helping hand. Sherry is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, Sylvia and Joseph Sadek, which inherently makes her strong, independent, and family-oriented, which was passed down to Kellie. She is great for a last-minute shopping trip, hosting advice, and a home-cooked meal. Fun fact: she has perfected drawing the Snoopy and Woodstock scene at the piano.

Erik Smith

Father of the Bride

Kellie's dad. Kellie thinks back to her childhood and remembers beach days, math lessons, and birthday weeks with her dad. Erik is patient, persistent, and passionate about how he enjoys life. Fun fact: he has played Strat-O-Matic, a strategy game using real-life baseball stats, with the same group of friends since their teens. So when you see him, ask who won the world series in 1969, and who was pitching that day.

Lisa Arroyo

Mother of the Bride

Sarah's mom. Lisa has always told her children to not let anything get in the way of achieving their goals, but to do so with kindness. Lisa has always been there for the people in her life that matter to her most. Lisa will give you the shirt off her back before you even tell her that you are cold. Lisa's job as a nurse has always helped Sarah in life- and still does. If you ask Sarah and Lisa if you should take Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen, they'll both give you the same answer.

Steve Arroyo

Father of the Bride

Sarah's dad. Steve prides himself on teaching his children to be kind and strong leaders: “be a leader, not a follower.” Sarah thinks back to "taylor ham," egg, and cheese sandwiches on Saturday mornings; building igloos on the back porch; and playing with their dogs. Steve has always done his best for his family, and continues to extend the same care to Kellie. If you ever need someone to help fix your plumbing, windows, cars, or quite literally anything, you should probably call Steve.

Brian Smith

Ring Bearer

Kellie's brother. His passion and ability to be present allows him to flourish in any setting. He loves hard and has always been there for a bear hug and a big smile. Anyone close to Brian, will tell you that he is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to random knowledge. Fun fact: Brian takes after his parents' singing and musical abilities, but takes it one step further by memorizing the lyrics to pretty much every song he hears.

Steven Arroyo

Ring Bearer

Sarah's brother. Steven and Sarah have always supported each other through difficult times and high successes. Steven is an incredibly intelligent person who is also not afraid to start a conversation with a stranger (rare combo). Steven continues to be a key figure in Sarah and Kellie's lives. When Sarah needs sound advice, or a laugh, or someone to match her chaotic energy— she calls Steven. Fun Fact: Steven is an excellent guitar player.

Annette Bludgus

Honorary Guest

Sarah met Annette when she was 17 years old, and she immediately became a support in her life. Annette encouraged Sarah to step outside of her comfort zone in how she dressed, and reminded her that she could do anything she wanted to. Annette and Sarah have since become family, and Annette was so excited to meet Kellie. Annette has continued to be present in their lives and loves them both unconditionally. Fun Fact: she's completed Reiki training and reads cards

Richard Bludgus

Honorary Guest

Richard Bludgus met Sarah when she was 17 years old, and he has always had intellectual conversations with her. As Sarah got older, he helped her navigate educational and career goals. Sarah and Rich used to sit and work together at the kitchen table during COVID, and they would take turns making fun of each other's Zoom calls. Richard and Kellie got along immediately, and have since been present in each other's lives. Fun Fact: he saw Queen (Sarah’s favorite band) when Freddie was still alive.

Beth Brandenberg

Usher

Beth started out just as Sherry's best friend from college. Then the minute Kellie was born, she was “Aunt Beth”. Countless nights were spent with Beth, her late husband Bill, and the cats, celebrating holidays, birthdays, and so much more! She is the hug that you never want to end, and the voice of reason when you are searching for one. When she moved to Florida with her Billy, Kellie knew that she needed warmth and a fresh start. Beth embraced Sarah like her own, and would do anything for anyone. Fun Fact: she is quite creative. Loves to quilt and using the Cricut to make all sorts of things. The brides also thank her for printing, and making sure the invitations/printed media look perfect for the day.

Nico Alcala

Usher

Brian's (Kellie's brother) best friend and honorary brother to Kellie. Nico is witty, charming, and loves to read and study a room. Life of the party, but also a "pleasure to have in class." When Kellie introduced Nico and Sarah, they got along immediately. Since then, they have had incredibly deep and intellectual conversations. They have also become family. Fun fact: makes a mean bean dip.

Antonio Lancellotti

Flower Girl

Sarah met Antonio when he was 9 years old. Sarah went with his mom to pick him up after school with a giant stuffed dinosaur as a peace offering. Since then, he has become a staple in her life. Sarah has been blessed with watching him grow up, and was so excited to introduce him to Kellie-- and they got along immediately. When presented with the question of what role he wanted to play in the wedding, his immediate response was: flower girl. Not flower boy, he wants the title. Fun fact: he has placed with metals in swim meets.
