Once upon a time in a far away land there lived a young, small town, Georgia man. He was well on his way to finishing his Masters degree, and landing his dream job in the athletics department at Clemson University. Across the seas there had been terrible news of an illness that was spreading rapidly. That illness made its way across the globe to the US. Everything shut down including the opportunity he had at Clemson. Eventually, needing to get away, Chris made a trip to Florida for a Walt Disney World visit with his best friend Mat. Mat’s wife Julie wanted to join in on the fun and decided to bring her friend Lisa along. Although it was miserably hot, and mask mandates were in effect, the four had a wonderful day together. There was lots of conversation, tons of laughter and Chris even bought Lisa’s lunch that day. Julie and Mats plan of getting Chris and Lisa together had worked out. It truly felt like the most magical place on earth, for the two didn’t know it yet but they had finally found each others happily ever after.
