THEN take the drive-on BC Ferry (~2-3 hrs ferry ride) to Swartz Bay and continue the drive to Victoria B.C to spend another night or two. Victoria Suggestions: Shopping on Government Street, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf
AND THEN take the drive-on Black Ball Ferry (~1.5-2hrs ferry ride) from Victoria B.C to Port Angeles, Washington!!!! The drive from Port Angeles back East to Seattle is beautiful and the little towns along the way (Sequim and Port Townsend) are also lovely.
If you are feeling very adventurous you could also go from Port Angeles and drive further West into the Olympic peninsula/National Forest, visit Forks, and visit the pacific coast! Edward Cullen? Where are you???? Let me live out my Twilight dreams.
