What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into our very first date at Moby Dick Brewery in November 2022. From that day forward, everything just felt right. By August 2023, we took the next big step and moved in together, where Katie's cat, Lucy, unhappily welcomed Matt into her world (they are now best friends, don't worry). Soon after, we added another furry member to the family, our sweet boy Levi, making us a family of four. We've loved building our life together- whether it's cozy nights with the cats, visits to Matt's family in Maine, or sunny days at the beach. In July 2025, after asking Katie's dad for his blessing, Matt brought Katie back to where it all began, the brewery from their first date, before leading her to Coast Guard Park. Right by the water, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Now, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you when we officially say "I Do" in September 2026!
