How we met

September 2013

I will never forget the night Jordan and I met. A couple coworkers and I had plans to go out to a couple bars in town. Living in a big university town and me being freshly 21 we all thought it would be fitting to venture out to the local campus bars. We started at a bar called the Neon Cactus and eventually got bored and walked up to Chauncey Hill. We ended up at a place called Where Else, and as we were walking in my friend bumped my arm and said "hey he's cute, what about him" as she pointed at someone across the bar in a black hat that was on backwards. What do you know...it was Jordan. Which I always knew who he was but I never had any encounters with him. We both went to local high schools around here, but my friend had no clue who he was. I just laughed and said "nope, that's Jordan Romack and I am not going there" he never had the best reputation with the girls around here... or did he? lol -Kristin

When we started dating

February 15, 2014

After months of chasing each other, or really him chasing me (that's the way I'll always tell it), the day after Valentines Day we were sitting on my bed at my moms apartment, getting ready for a date, and I looked at him and asked "so are you gonna make me your girlfriend or not!" -Kristin

When "I said yes!"

February 11, 2018

We were pregnant with our second little girl, Rowyn. She was due middle of March. We already had one little girl Liberty, who was turning 3. We had engagment photos planned with a long time friend in the middle of February. We went to Tapawingo park and it had just snowed, it was SO cold. Not to mention I had a long thin dress on, thank goodness for the extra pregnancy weight! But while we were getting our pictures taken, our photographer had me turn my back to her so she could take a picture of my dress, she took some, then told me to turn around, and when I did, Jordan was down on one knee! -Kristin

This year is OUR year. This year will be 7 years. 7 years of growing. 7 years of learning. 7 years of teaching. 7 years of loving. Our adventure began a while ago, but we are excited to continue to experience more of life's adventures together! Somethings last forever after all ❤️
