Things To Do

Fall in Lancaster is very busy and there is always plenty to do! We've listed some events and activities you may want to look into while you are in the area.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim, PA 17545

The PA Renaissance Faire is one of our yearly traditions. We love attending with friends and family members to spend a day in the shire. There are local artisan shops, delicious food, entertaining shows and plenty of old fashioned costumes. All alcoholic beverages are brewed/distilled locally at the Mount Hope Estate and Winery. We plan to attend the faire on Saturday, October 12th and we would love to see you there!

Hershey Park

Hershey Park

100 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, PA 17033

Halloween at Hershey Park begins this September. The park will be open October 12-13th for rides, trick-or-treating, character glow dance parties, and "to face the frightening terrors of dark nights that lurk in the shadows".

Lititz Chocolate Walk

Lititz Chocolate Walk

Lititz, PA 17543

Lititz is a cute, small town in Lancaster that has a walkable "main" street with plenty of local shops. On October 12th, they are hosting their annual "Chocolate Walk" where you can purchase a ticket to sample approximately 25 chocolate treats from local artisans. Ticket Sales begin July 1, 2024.

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

150 Cherry Hill Road, Ronks, PA 17572

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is one of the most recommended fall activities in the area. The farm hosts a 5-acre corn maze, a paintball range, apple blasters, petting zoo, and plenty of local merchandise including flowers and sweet fall treats.

Shady Maple Smorgasbord

Shady Maple Smorgasbord

129 Toddy Drive, East Earl, PA 17519

Shady Maple is the largest smorgasbord in the United States, boasting over 200 feet of fresh meals as well as over 44,000 sqft of shopping space. Shady Maple is definitely an experience, expect to spend a couple of hours at this location. Please note: the smorgasbord and its shops are not open on Sundays.

Hershey Bears Hockey

Hershey Bears Hockey

550 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, PA 17033

While the 2024-2025 schedule has not yet been released, the Hershey Bears' hockey season will be gearing to ramp up this time of year. These thirteen-time Calder Cup champions are exciting to watch at the Giant Center. (Go Phantoms!)
