We first met through church over nine years ago, where God crossed our paths and a friendship quickly began. Over the years, our lives crossed in different seasons, but whenever we reconnected, it felt easy—like no time had passed at all, and always in God’s perfect timing. In early 2024, when John returned to the church where we first met, our friendship was rekindled. What started as a renewed connection soon became a strong bond, and before long, we were inseparable. Before we knew it, we were best friends, choosing each other every chance we got. After a whole lot of prayer and a whole lot of friends cheering us on (and not-so-subtly rooting for this to happen), we began dating in December 2024—grateful for God’s faithfulness, loving community, and the many nudges that helped lead us right here.
