A med student and a pharmacist walked into a bar one day six years ago (after meeting on Hinge), and now they're getting married! We were hoping Hinge would sponsor this wedding, but no such luck. Our first date was at a Chicago bar called Clover, where Arnold taught Kali how to play darts, and Kali introduced Arnold to the high-stakes game 'Pass the Pigs'. From there, it was history. When the world shut down in 2020, we found ourselves quarantining together in a 400-square-foot studio apartment. Instead of driving each other crazy, we leaned in—cooking elaborate dinners, binge-watching The Sopranos and Love is Blind, and taking endless walks around Chicago. Turns out, surviving a pandemic together in a tiny shared space was the ultimate compatibility test. Next, life took us to Omaha, where Arnold matched into a urology residency, and we decided to start a new adventure side by side. Since then, we’ve added two giant, quirky frenchies (Marvin and Walter), traveled on unforgettable vacations, and learned that residency life in a new city is much easier when you’ve found your person. A few years later, Arnold proposed in Lyon, France, overlooking the city after a perfect day of wine, food, and sightseeing. Now, we’re beyond excited to celebrate with all of you in the city we call home (for now) as we begin our next chapter together!
