The yellow fever vaccine is required if you are coming from a high-risk country or have recently visited a yellow fever-endemic country. Question

Do I need to take malaria precaution medication?

Answer

We suggest everyone seek their own professional medical advice on the ‘malaria risk’. However, to the extent this is relevant: In Nairobi(the wedding location), we do not take any Malaria medication, as this has been labelled as ‘malaria-free’ by the WHO due to its high altitude and urban environment. If planning to visit the Kenyan coastal areas before or after the wedding such as Lamu, Watamu, Malindi, Diani, Mombasa; these are high risk areas, and we recommend prevention medication be taken before, during and after your travel there. Please consult your doctor.

Answer

The event will be outdoors (tented) on grass.

Answer
