A temple marriage, more specifically called a temple sealing, is a ceremony in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where a couple is married not just for this life, or “until death do you part,” but for eternity. During the ceremony, we kneel across an altar and make promises to each other and to God. It is one of the most meaningful parts of our wedding day. Please come to the temple grounds to celebrate with us right after!
The temple marriage will take place inside the Payson Utah Temple. Because of the religious nature of the ceremony, attendance inside is limited for those who receive a unique invitation. We invite all friends and family to gather on the temple grounds right after the ceremony to celebrate with us. We’re so excited to see you as we exit the temple and take photos together! Please come dressed in your Formal Garden Party Attire (see Dress Code tab).
Please arrive at 12:45 pm to see us exit the temple and take photos!
Yes! Formal Garden Party attire—please see the Dress Code tab for details.
Photos and videos are welcome unless otherwise directed. We kindly ask that you do not post or share any photos from the wedding day until the bride has shared first or given approval. For those attending the ring ceremony, it will be an unplugged, no-phones event.
The ring ceremony is by invitation.
Parking will be available at the church around the block (810 E 600 N, Orem, UT 84097), and along streets outside of the venue neighborhood. Please don’t park on venue driveway or right outside of venue if possible.
Yes! The reception will be in a backyard, so please dress accordingly.
We will be serving a variety of treats, breads, spreads, and charcuterie-style refreshments. There will be plenty to enjoy, but a full dinner will not be provided.
You are welcome to bring one guest.
Yes, but this is a formal event catered to adults, so we ask that children are supervised at all times. There is also a pool on the property, so safety is especially important.
