This spot has a wonderful view of the city and the Hollywood sign. I'd recommend parking at the bottom of Griffith Park and taking the 20-minute hike up to take in the views. Once you reach the top, you can enter the Observatory for free and tour the museum.
Always a great spot to find some famous comedians practicing their work. Their shows never disappoint. $25/person for entry and a 2-drink minimum during the show.
Bring a picnic lunch and sip on some local wine at their beer garden. Optional Safari Tours and Wine Hikes available for purchase as well.
There's no shortage of those here. There's something for everyone: -Los Angeles County Museum of Art -La Brea Tar Pits -California Science Center (good for the kids) -The Broad (contemporary) -The Getty and The Getty Villa -Petersen Automotive Museum -Natural History Museum -Autry Museum of the American West
Touring Broadway shows call this place home. If you want to explore Hollywood, this is a perfect excuse.
The orchestra shows here will bring you to tears. If you're feeling fancy, purchase some tickets and enjoy the music!
I always recommend the trip from Venice to Santa Monica. Walk the Venice canals to the "boardwalk," then to the skate park, while browsing the eclectic art along the way. Then, hop on a rental bike and ride up to the Santa Monica pier and Third Street Promenade. Don't forget to stick your feet in the Pacific while you're at it!
This is our 'hood. If you want a cultural experience that won't disappoint, I'd suggest hanging out here for a night. Relax during the day at a Korean spa. Afterwards, stop in at Korean BBQ for dinner, head to karaoke afterwards, then to one of the many late night bars.
