The Wedding Website of Kate Arner and James Alexander Schultz
Question

Are there accommodations near the venue or hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! The Olde Mill Inn has rooms onsite, please refer to the Travel section for booking instructions and room block information. In addition, there are two other hotels near listed.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes, the Olde Mill Inn has a large parking lot

Question

What's the wedding dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black-tie optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or suit and tie, or an evening gown or a midi-length dress is appropriate. These are just some options!

Question

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer guests wear?

Answer

Nope! Feel free to embrace the holiday tones or whatever color suits your heart (except white lol)

Question

Is the wedding infant/toddler/kid friendly?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones! My grandmother, who passed away this February and meant so much to me, always believed children should be part of these special moments—so we’ll be including those close to us in our formal invitations. That said, we completely understand if you and your partner would prefer a night to yourselves—please feel free to celebrate in whatever way feels best for you! If you do choose to bring your children, we kindly ask that you help us keep the ceremony peaceful by being mindful of noise, especially at the church. We will have our videographer there to capture the special ceremony. The reception will be a lively celebration with a DJ (leaning toward dance/electronic music), so it may be a bit loud for younger children potentially. Above all, we just want everyone to have a fun, memorable night celebrating together. We’re so grateful to have you in our lives and can’t wait to share this special day with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There'll be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and reception! If you plan to attend the after-party in the pub associated with our venue (after the reception), drinks will not be covered and it will be a cash bar (cash, credit card, or charge to your hotel room).

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony at the Church starts at 3:00 pm so please allow yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat (no later than 2:45 pm).

Question

Is there a breakfast the following morning for hotel guests?

Answer

Yes indeed! Every morning from 7:00 am-10:00 am, there is a complimentary continental breakfast in the lower lobby conservatory available (for those staying at the hotel). Continental breakfast includes an assortment of bagels, danish & breakfast pastries, cereals, yogurt, homemade granola, freshly cut fruit, juices, and complete coffee & tea service.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes! The Grain House Coppertop Pub (located at the same venue site) is open to the public with last call at 1:30am. We can hang out there for awhile since the reception ends promptly at 10pm.

Question

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony ends at 3:30 pm and the cocktail hour starts at 5:00 pm. There will be time in between for travel (the Church is around 8 minutes away from Olde Mill Inn) and to check in at the hotel (if you are staying over) or hang out with welcome refreshments!
