We're getting Married

It all began in a Virtual Children’s Worship Service when he noticed me and reached out on Facebook in April 2022. One Sunday afternoon, I received a friend request notification from him, but I hesitated to accept it right away since I wasn’t familiar with him. That night, as I was scrolling through my newsfeed before bed, I remembered his request. For some reason, I felt curious—especially since we had so many mutual friends from church—and decided to accept it. As soon as I did, he sent me a simple “Hello,” and that was the start of our conversation, which continued the next day. He asked me out that very day, but I was hesitant to say yes since I was still at work. Despite my uncertainty, he went ahead and made his way to Megamall. At that point, I knew I couldn’t back out, so I met him. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. We instantly connected when we discovered we were both PNK officers. Our first date felt so natural and easy. We connected instantly, sharing laughter over coffee, a movie, and dinner. It was only our second date when we both realized we had found something special, and just like that, we became a couple. In the nearly three years since, our bond has grown stronger and deeper, built on faith, trust, and shared values. Now, as we prepare for marriage, I look back with a heart full of gratitude for those two dates that changed everything. I’m so excited for the future we’re about to build together.
