Picture it…summer 2007. I had just got my first job at Lee’s Chicken. I was a crew member and he was a cook. He came in for his shift all nonchalant. Walked in, threw his hand up and gave a subtle wave to the staff that evening. I seen him walk in and thought he was so cute! Fast forward about a month later, I had my mom drop me off at work and I asked him to take me home in order to get closer to him. #ItWorked! We became acquaintances or dare I say, friends. From then on we’d talk or “chirp” each other. He ended up leaving Lee’s and got a better job and I went to college. Our lives went completely separate ways. He now with 2 kids, me in GA with 1. Now here we are Feb 2023. I sent a message on FB asking if he remembered a time we had hung together. We chatted a little and exchanged numbers. We made plans for him to visit me in GA that spring. And since that visit April 2023, we’ve been inseparable. By May of 2024, I had our daughter together. And by August 2024 he was driving down with a U-Haul to bring me back. When I got pregnant with our son, during our maternity shoot, he popped the question! I’m so awkward and goofy I couldn’t drop a tear. Just smile and show every tooth in my mouth! Now here we are, planning the rest of our lives♥️
