FAQs

Question

What is the wierd string of numbers on my invitation?

Answer

Those are the GPS coordinates to the beach where we will be getting married. If you put them into your map app of choice it will take you straight there. Be sure to download the map ahead of time as there is no cell reception. 45° 24' 22.2''N 116° 5' 11.2''W

Question

No really! How do I get there?

Answer

Heading north on HW 55, turn right on Salmon River Rd just before you get to Riggins. Follow the road east and upriver for 15.2 miles. The beach will be on the left. If you make it to French Creek you've gone too far. Honestly it should be pretty hard to miss us and the road dead ends not too much further, so you can't get too lost.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is very limited. Please Carpool! If you are meeting your carpool buddies on the way up, we recommend meeting at Island Bar and leaving extra cars there. Once you get to the beach, there will be a limited number of spaces in the pullouts. Most people will need to park on the road. In order to be courteous and leave space for people pulling trailers who are heading the the boat ramps further down the road, we ask that people only park on the side of the road facing the river. Please pull as far off the road as possible and don't leave huge spaces between cars.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, we are getting married! We hope for good weather, but we are going to have a great time regardless. Please check the forecast and plan accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

How you are dressed is way less important than the energy you bring. We are dressing to the 9's! You do what makes you happy. On a practical note. It is a very short walk over uneven ground to a sandy beach. There will be limited shade until the sun dips behind the hill. Even if you aren't planning on camping with us, a change of clothes for after the ceremony might be a good idea. There may even be opportunity for a refreshing swim after the festivities have concluded weather permitting.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

TACOS AND PAPUSAS! There will be pulled pork and some sort of seafood for protein options for tacos. The papusas, along with all the sides, will have options for our gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian friends and family. We will also have a keg or two of beer, some wine, as well as water and lemonade for some NA options. Please feel free to bring whatever else you would like to drink or even eat.
