Q+A

Question

Passports

Answer

Don't forget your passport! Please double-check to make sure your passport does not expire before September 2027, as you will not be permitted to travel within 6 months remaining of an expiration date. Passports can take up to 3 months to arrive, so please be sure to update or apply for a passport ASAP!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is January 8, 2027. To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you; however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are so grateful you are travelling to celebrate with us! Please visit the Travel page for information regarding where we have a hotel block as well as additional lodging recommendations.

Question

Is there someone who can help me plan my trip?

Answer

Yes! We've arranged for a complimentary travel concierge to assist you with all of your travel needs. She can help with flights, hotel accommodations, transportation, and local tours or activities to make your trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible. For assistance, please reach out to Fatima at concierge@weddingsinguatemala.com

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. This means you can wear a tux, evening gown, formal suit, or mid-length cocktail dress.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish we could include everyone, but we're keeping our guest list limited. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear on your RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We're so grateful for your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you!
