Every love story has its beginning, and you could say this one starts before Nate and Bridget ever met. It was 2020, and Covid was taking the world by storm. Nate had just finished his MBA, while Bridget had wrapped up physical therapy school. As they both celebrated virtual graduations, they each looked to what was next. Nate was getting used to all his newfound free time from now working from home, and school being over, so he decided now was the time to buy a house. He found one in Mount Prospect, less than a mile from where Bridget was living at the time, and took the plunge. You might think that this led to them running into each other at the grocery store, and living happily ever after, but Bridget had some big plans of her own. She had found a great job and decided now was the time to move to the city in Logan Square. A year went by, and the world started to open up again. On a fateful Friday night at the start of 2022, Nate stumbled upon Bridget’s profile on the dating app Hinge, and he took his shot. After returning from a trip to Cancun, Bridget opened the app up, and you could say the rest is history. A few weeks later, they went on their first date at Snakes and Lattes, a self described board game bar. Three board games and a whole lot of conversation later, they knew they had something special. They would soon make things official and meet each other’s families. After many, many journeys back and forth between Logan Square and Mount Prospect, our story takes us back to where it somewhat kind of sort of started, as Nate and Bridget moved in together, and that house in Mount Prospect, became a home. Eleven trips, nineteen concerts, and countless weddings later, both of them cannot wait to celebrate getting married to each other.
