What will the weather be like during the ceremony?

Since the ceremony is being held at sunset in the high country at 7214 feet, expect cooler temperatures. We recommend to dress warm.

How far is the drive to Tenaya Lodge from the Bay Area?

Approx 3.5-4.0 hours from Concord/Martinez area. It’s on the southern end of Yosemite.

Will there be food available at the ceremony location?

Answer

No. Since the dinner reception starts at Tenaya Lodge after the ceremony ~8pm, we recommend having a healthy snack before the 6:30pm ceremony.

Is there a backup plan for the ceremony location for inclement weather or inability to travel to Glacier Point?

Yes, we’ll perform the ceremony at the reception.
