Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Hi all! Hope everyone had a great holiday season and a Happy New Year! 2024 is going to be incredible! April will be here in no time and we wanted to update you on all things wedding. The venue itself is located near the town of Lo De Marcos, Mexico. It is a beautiful hilltop villa called Hacienda Antigua with breathtaking views of the ocean and the valley below. The ceremony and reception will all be on the property and there will be shuttles provided up to the villa and back down. Other than Lo De Marcos, the closest towns to the venue are San Pancho and Sayulita, which is where we'd recommend you stay. These towns are extremely charming and both the food and hospitality are excellent. You don't have to look far for a good restaurant, a beachside massage, or a fun daytime activity. There are no chain hotels or all-inclusive resorts nearby, so the hotel options are more on the smaller, cute boutique side. If you are traveling in a bigger group and want a bigger space there are plenty of private rental options. Either way, we know you'll love these towns. They're full of culture, great food, and have plenty of tequila! If you need help in any way navigating travel please reach out to us and we can help. Can't wait to celebrate and take lots of tequila shots!!

Where to fly into: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR)

Travel Note

Where to Stay: Sayulita, San Pancho, or Lo De Marcos Mexico

The venue is called Hacienda Antigua. Its located near the small town of Lo De Marcos. (You can see the exact location via the link below.) Although Lo De Marcos is closest to the venue, we highly suggest booking your stay in Sayulita or San Pancho for a more lively experience.

Travel Note

Recommended Lodging- Sayulita

Sayulita is our #1 choice to stay! The town is bustling and has plenty to do should you want to get out and explore. We stayed at Siete Lunas when we visited Sayulita. It's very private, the view is amazing, and the food is also great. Click the below "view" button to see Siete Lunas. There are a bunch of other great hotel options, so please let us know if you want additional recommendations. You can also visit the links below for other recommended hotels, villas, and airbnbs. Sayulitalife.com in particular has most of the information you'll need to plan your trip. www.sayulitalife.com www.sayulitaatyourservice.com www.airbnb.com

RECOMMENDED LODGING- SAN PANCHO

San Pancho is also a great town. Its smaller and a bit quieter than Sayulita but still has great food and plenty to do. There are fewer hotels we'd recommend but plenty of private rental options. We stayed at Marii Hotel Boutique when we visited San Pancho. It's a quiet boutique hotel, with 8 private rooms around the pool, and the food is amazing! (See the "view" link below.) We've also checked out Ciye Hotel and would recommend it. It is right in the center of town just steps from the beach. It also has a great rooftop pool and has an excellent tequila bar attached. (The website for this hotel is https://www.ciyehotel.mx/.) Sayulitalife.com has information for San Pancho as well. You can also visit the links below for other recommended hotels and Airbnbs. https://www.hotelysurisanpancho.com/ www.airbnb.com

Travel Note

TRANSPORTATION

Sayulita VIP Transportation has been our "go-to". (See the "View" link below.) They provide us with our ride to and from the airport as well as a golf cart to venture around town. There are also taxis to take you from town to town. Make sure you have your pesos ready! We will be coordinating transportation to and from the venue and will provide those details as the date gets closer. Golf carts are a preferred mode of transportation in these towns, especially if you choose to stay somewhere that is situated on a hillside. You can easily get around without them, but we have found them to be a nice option, as the streets are mostly cobblestone and there are a lot of hills, especially around Sayulita.
