Are kids invited?

Answer

Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a semi-formal event, but feel free to look your best! The bride requests you refrain from wearing a wedding dress.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Anytime after 12:30 pm but prior to 1:30 - that's when the good stuff starts!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors! Midwest weather is too hot and humid in July for outside business!

Where do we park at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the Cathedral and the streets surrounding the church. Please enter the church from the doors in the parking lot. DO NOT enter through the doors on E 10th Street. There is parking behind the University Club and in the parking garage next to the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you do not take photos at the ceremony. But we encourage guests to take photos at the reception. Our only request is that you use our wedding hashtag so we can see them! #PerksOfBecomingArmetta We also will have a sweet snapchat filter for you to use at the reception!

Is Uber or Lift available in your area?

Answer

Yes, but in these uncertain times please don't rely on them. We prefer you to get a hotel room on Saturday so no one drinks and drives!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Is there transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Yes! There is a shuttle from the Quad City International Airport to The Axis Hotel per request. You must schedule this with the hotel upon booking and they will make sure you get picked up!
