We met on the dating app Bumble. We matched on a Friday afternoon and spent the evening chatting with each other for hours. Dean informed Armanthia that he had already scheduled a date with someone else for Saturday, but that we could meet for a date on Sunday. We had our first official date on July 10, 2021 at the American and Mexican Diner in Hartford, CT. From there we went to a nearby park and enjoyed some trees, and after Dean asked Armanthia to come to his house to meet his parents. With some hesitancy and encouragement from friends (Thanks Edwin and Kevina), Armanthia obliged. A few months later Armanthia asked Dean for his hand in marriage, and Dean happily said yes. Shortly after the two moved in together, and in March of 2023 Dean got on one knee and made it official with a ring and traditional proposal. We would shortly thereafter adopt a fur baby, Sheldon Cooper Duncan-Tudeme, who made our little family feel even more complete. We were married in a small intimate ceremony in our home in Waterbury, CT on January 6, 2024, and are eagerly excited to share with you our love at our official wedding ceremony on October 19, 2024 in Gulfport, MS surrounded by our friends and loved ones.
