Things To Do & Restaurants

The Wedding Website of Armani Hutten and Luke Wiedmayer
We absolutely love Charleston, and we're so excited to share some of our favorite spots with you! If you're planning to turn your stay into an adventure, we've put together a list of must-see places and our favorite restaurants! Heads up- Charleston’s restaurants often require reservations, so we recommend planning ahead by making a reservation 1-2 weeks prior (especially since it's valentines day weekend!!)
King Street

King Street

King Street, Charleston, SC

King Street is the go-to spot for shopping, dining, and a fun night out. It’s packed with cool boutiques, great restaurants, and a lively vibe you won’t want to miss!

Rainbow Row

Rainbow Row

79-107 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Charleston is known for its colorful historic houses, and this street features several. Located near the waterfront, it’s a quick walk to the Pineapple Fountain and Battery Park!

Pineapple Fountain

Pineapple Fountain

1 Vendue Range, Charleston, SC 29401

This park was opened to the public after Hurricane Hugo- as a sign of hope and restoration! There are several pineapple motifs throughout Charleston and represents hospitality.

The Battery

The Battery

2 Murray Blvd, Charleston, SC 29401

Battery Park is a peaceful spot along the waterfront with beautiful gardens, old oak trees, and some cool historical sites. The park used to be a defensive area during the Civil War, and now it's a perfect spot to enjoy the views, and a bit of Charleston’s rich history!

Old Village & Pitt Street Bridge

Old Village & Pitt Street Bridge

101 Pitt Street, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

Old Village is located just across the Ravenel Bridge in Mount Pleasant! Here is where the original town of Mount Pleasant was located. The area is full of historic homes and local shops. The Post House Inn is a super cute bed and breakfast and a great stop for brunch, lunch or dinner! At the end of Pitt Street is the Pitt Street Bridge! This old bridge, now a pedestrian walkway, offers stunning views of the surrounding marshes and waterways.

Patriots Point Links

Patriots Point Links

1 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

For our golfers, the golf course at Patriots Point has awesome harbor views and is open year-round! It’s a great spot to squeeze in a round while you’re in town.

Shem Creek

Shem Creek

100 Church St, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

Shem Creek is a great spot with waterfront views, seafood restaurants, and tons of boats! You can walk the long boardwalk through the marsh, watch the shrimp boats, dolphins and enjoy a meal on the water. We recommend Table & Tavern for delicious food and drinks with a waterfront view!

Le Farfalle

Le Farfalle

15 Beaufain Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Our go-to restaurant in Charleston. This is the restaurant that we celebrated our engagement at with our families! They offer a variety of dinner options and have the WORLD's best and biggest shrimp cocktail!

SHIKI

SHIKI

334 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401

THE BEST SUSHI in Charleston! Make sure to get the blue crab hand roll!

Little Jack's Tavern

Little Jack's Tavern

710 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403

On upper King Street! Great stop for burgers and a shrimp cocktail!

Caviar & Bananas

Caviar & Bananas

51 George Street, Charleston, SC 29401

The perfect marketplace if you're looking for a quick lunch! Smoothies, sandwiches, salads, etc. Located right off of King Street so it's great if you need a meal while shopping and walking around!

Frannie & The Fox

Frannie & The Fox

181 Church Street, Charleston, SC 29401

Located in Hotel Emeline- super cute (& insta worthy!) spot with great cocktails and pizza!

167 Raw Oyster Bar

167 Raw Oyster Bar

193 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401

This is a Charleston staple and Luke/Armani's Dads favorite! If you love oysters, this is the place to go! We recommend going right at opening (11am) since they do not take reservations. You can always walk around King Street if there is a wait.

For all the days along the way
