We are tying the knot

We met at the bowling alley, 4th street bowl, while bowling YBT’s, about six years ago. Soon after, we connected on Facebook and we could not stop talking. It went from Facebook messager to texts to endless phone calls and FaceTime calls. We officially started dating on December 24rd, four years ago. Armando asked Marlon to be his girlfriend right by Santa. That following March, Marlon flew to Lebanon, Illinois for her spring break to celebrate spring break together. We did a year-long distance before she was accepted to McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois.

The week of May 13th, Armando and Marlon were packing up their dorm rooms, when Marlon boxed up a drawstring backpack with the ring in it. Armando realized the backpack was gone and frantically searched for it. Armando then asked where it went and Marlon told him it was in a box. After looking through multiple boxes, Armando found it. It was May 13, 2018, Armando's Graduation from McKendree University with his Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. After the ceremony, we were taking family pictures with the diploma in hand when he turned around and got on one knee. It could not have been more perfect!! At the graduation, were: Arjan, Marian, Jeremy, Becky, and Daniel (Armando's Grandpa). It was a big surprise to almost everyone, only Arjan and Jeremy knew the plan.
