Question

What do I need to do before traveling to Hawaii (Domestic travelers)?

Answer

For those vaccinated in the United States (must be at least 15 days post vaccination and have been FULLY vaccinated in the US to qualify), 1) Upload your CDC vaccination card or VAMS printout to the Safe Travels program site: travel.hawaii.gov 2) Do the health checklist on the Safe Travels program site within 24 hours of your flight 3) Once your health information is entered 24 hours before departure, travelers receive a QR code via email. The QR code on your mobile device or printed on paper gets scanned by the airport screener upon arrival. 4) No need to quarantine if vaccination card is successfully uploaded before your flight to Hawaii (must show vaccination card upon arrival)

Question

What are the wedding event restrictions?

Answer

Per Hawaii State guidelines, masks must be worn at all events, indoors and outdoors; confirmation of vaccination required for all indoor and outdoor events where food or beverage is served

Question

What are the travel requirements for international travel to Hawaii?

Answer

All air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken NO MORE THAN 1 DAY before travel to the United States. You MUST be fully vaccinated to travel to the US by plane. International travelers flying directly to Hawaii do not need to complete a Safe Travels application.
