We initially met through Hope City at a youth night when Christina was serving on the youth team and Armando was serving in production. We became friends soon after that but lost touch during covid. We reconnected when we both joined the Hope City staff.

We went to dinner to celebrate our one and a half year anniversary at Fleming's. Afterwards, we walked down to the Woodlands waterway, where a beautiful display of flowers was set up on the bridge overlooking the water. As soon as she saw it, Christina knew something special was about to happen. Armando joked as he bent to one knee, asked the question and Christina excitedly said yes! Our friends and family joined in the celebration and basked in the excitement of the evening.
