After ten years together (some might even say high school sweethearts), the proposal was always going to be meaningful—but of course, not everything can go according to plan.

Arman had everything lined up: a surprise proposal in Thailand on the perfect beach, with the perfect ring... that didn’t arrive in time. With the trip already booked, he had no choice but to leave without it.

Enter a very dedicated friend who flew in after him and—because this story needed more chaos—stashed the ring in the Bangkok Airport luggage storage for a couple of suspenseful days until Arman could retrieve it, without blowing the surprise.

An international handoff and a lot of luck later… Arman got the ring, got down on one knee, and Unni said yes!

Now the ring that almost didn’t happen is part of a love story that definitely did.
