Jeanine's: Good, local breakfast place a few doors down from the Montecito Inn. The scones are the best! Honor Bar: Great spot for lunch/dinner/cocktails next to the Montecito Inn. Renaud's: Great pastries on Coast Village Road. Bettina: Superb pizza/salad/spritzes in the Montecito Country Mart. Merci: Delicious lunch spot for casual French-inspired fare in the Country Mart. Padaro Beach Grill: Outdoor dining on the beach in Carpinteria. Good for lunch or dinner and great for kids and groups. Dang Burger: Amazing smash burgers in downtown Carpinteria. There are many great hikes in the foothills. We love the Cold Springs Canyon, San Ysidro, and Romero trails.
We love Santa Claus Lane the best but Miramar Beach and Butterfly are both walking distance from the Montecito Inn.
