Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to join the celebration! We kindly ask that during key moments, your little ones are kept close and quietly supervised to help maintain the special atmosphere. After that, let them run wild, it's a party! Thank you for your understanding.

What should I wear?

Answer

Traditional Indian attire is encouraged! Women can wear sarees or lehengas, and men can wear kurtas or sherwanis. If you prefer Western attire, formal or semi-formal outfits work too. Bright colors are always a great choice! We kindly request avoiding black during the wedding, as it is considered inauspicious in Indian tradition.

Are there multiple events, and do I need to attend all of them?

Yes! Hindu weddings are filled with multiple celebrations, each with its own special meaning. Please refer to your invitation for details on which events you’re invited to—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Answer

No, there is no wedding registry. No boxed gifts please. Thank you!

Will there be vegetarian food?

Answer

Breakfast and lunch on the wedding day will be 100% vegetarian. Reception dinner will be a mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance.

There will be no alcohol served during the wedding ceremony. Open bar will be available during cocktail hour and reception.

Is the ceremony indoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The cocktail hour will be mixed outdoors and indoors. The reception will be indoors.
