Fabrice and I met at a conference to impact youths called “Cameroon Leadership Academy” in Douala Cameroon I was talking to the audience about the program of the meeting, when I saw a young man coming in the hall dressed in an orange shirt and holding a suitcase. He walked to the back of the Hall and seemed very quiet. We did not have the chance to interact that day. I even forgot about him until we met again 1 month later for the trip to Fonakeke village that was randomly picked for our trip to impact young students in the western region of Cameroon. We all earned a certificate and I did not have a bag or suitcase to store mine to keep it safe. As he was next to me, I kindly asked him if he could save my certificate in his suitcase and he was kind enough to say yes. We traveled back together in the same public transportation to Douala and exchanged contact information and I caught a taxi to my house. At home, I realized that I had forgotten my certificate and phoned him. He suggested meeting halfway for pick up the next day. Therefore, we met at “Chop et Yamo” restaurant. He opened his computer bag and handed me a framed certificate that included my pictures on each side (check attachment enclosed). I was pleasantly surprised with the attention and the genius idea and just burst into tears because this was my first time to have such attention. His kindness did not end there; he lovely wiped my tears and offered to take me to my home. All of this has touched my heart and I thought it would be cool to have him as a friend. From now on, we started talking and as time goes, we built a strong relationship. To make the story short, ever since through our engagement in Douala on August 21, 2016, (My birthday) the attention along with love have never diminish. We both believe God played a big role in setting this meeting and we are proud of ourselves for our reliance and faith.
