We met a few years ago on social media… yeah, we know, not the most romantic beginning. And honestly, the first time around didn’t really work out. Life just had us on different paths. Then about two years later, Zeus randomly asked, “Do you want to go skydiving?” And I said yes, because I’d always wanted to. That one yes changed everything. It’s kind of funny because on our actual first date years before, we were both so shy that we literally Googled questions to ask each other. One of them was, “What’s your dream wedding?” At the time, I didn’t even believe in marriage like that. I hadn’t really seen love growing up, so it just wasn’t something I pictured for myself. And I remember Zeus saying, “We’ll see in a few years.” Well… here we are. Somewhere between second chances and taking a leap (literally), we found something real. Something that feels like home.
