We met in Middle School but who is thinking of love at that age, right? It wasn't until high school that we saw each other differently. On October 5th, 2009, Bryan asked Arlene to be his girlfriend. Our first kiss was outside the school, our first dance was inside the school, our parents first met at the school. What else can we tell you about being high school sweethearts?

On May 19, 2022, what was supposed to be a regular dinner date to a new steakhouse took a turn to Brooklyn Bridge. We walked by the river, where Bryan found the perfect spot to get on one knee, showed Arlene her dream ring and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes (she had been saying yes before being asked), strangers cheered and a photographer sneakingly took pictures of the moment. Bryan knew a photoshoot would seal the deal. And yes we did have that steak afterwards.

We always wanted a destination wedding, and what better place than the one we're from, Dominican Republic. We'd love to get married on our dating anniversary, October 5th, but we prefer partying on a Saturday. Which is why we are excited to celebrate our wedding on October 7, 2023 as we mark 14 years together!
