Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception are taking place indoors at Elara Convention Center — with a 4 hour break in between events.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

We kindly request that you please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony and reception start. This will give you enough time to get settled and mingle with other guests.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We will be sending out RSVPs in May 2026! The RSVP window will close in August 2026.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

During the reception, there will be 3 hours of open beer and wine (1 hour during the cocktail hour, 2 hours starting around dinner). Soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages are available to guests at no cost, and additional spirits and liquors can be purchased.

Can I bring a plus one/date?

Please note that our guest list is limited, so invites are restricted to those whose names are on the RSVP invitation. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you there!

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved with Crystal Lake Holiday Inn! The rooms are conveniently located in the same building down the hall from Elara Convention Center. If rooms are still available, you can find out how to reserve one under the Travel section of our website.

Do I need to buy an Indian outfit?

Answer

Want to wear Indian clothes? Go ahead, we'd love to see you pull it off! But Indian attire is not required — please wear whatever is comfortable for you.

Where do I park my car?

Answer

Take the bus :) Just kidding, there is plenty of free parking outside of the hotel and convention center.
