Wedding Party

Grace Mauro

Matron of Honor

Grace and I have been friends since 2007, which is absolutely insane when you think about it for too long… 18 years is over half our lives at this point! We met in chorus class as dorky, weird ass kids and it’s only gotten better as we grew into weird ass adults. We remained close friends even through Grace changing high schools in senior year, moving away to Harrisonburg for college, and through me moving across the country twice… Grace recently celebrated beating the hell out of stage 3 cancer, AND getting married in the same year! (Congratulate her when you see her!!!) She’s nothing short of an absolute marvel, and I couldn’t be prouder and more blessed to have her by my side on my special day. I can’t wait to see her (and Kyle too, I guess) when I walk down the aisle. Thank you for being my best friend and for loving me through every stage of this life!

Trey Johnson

Best Man

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you mix Home Depot, charades, and a friendship that outlasted three managers and a dozen resets… you get Trey and me, clowning around in orange aprons like we’re auditioning for a reality show no one asked for. We met in 2011 at the big orange box store, where we turned boring shifts into full-blown improv sessions. From playing charades in the aisles to laughing so hard customers thought we needed medical attention—it didn’t take long before Trey became my ride or die. Since then, we’ve survived Vegas (barely), taken road trips with questionable planning, and made memories at his wedding, where I was blessed to be a part of. He’s a walking IMDb who reviews movies on YouTube and could argue plot holes like it’s a courtroom drama. And let’s not even talk about his poker obsession… the man collects chips like they’re rare Pokémon. Trey isn’t just a friend—he’s family. A true brother from another mother. Loyal, hilarious, and always down for whatever wild idea we cook up. So if you see a guy near me cracking jokes, quoting movies mid-sentence, or randomly miming like he’s still playing charades in aisle 12—yep, that’s Trey. One of a kind, and one of my greatest blessings.
