Maid of Honor
New Start Summer Bridge Program. Summer 2010. I was two weeks into realizing I really did suck at math, had no idea how to manage money, my roommate was crazy, it was all a blur! And then I met Elia and finally, some clarity. Looking back on it now I really am so grateful that I found someone who was ready to take on what life threw at me. Today is no different. Towards senior year of college we pretty much were inseparable, from having a beautiful line of 7 to supporting each other through career opportunities, family and even through house parties...we were always the last to show up and the last to leave. Naps come first people! I thank the universe everyday for you. Gracias for agreeing to continue to take on life’s events with me, thing two <2. You’re my greatest support.
Best Man
I cant remember the exact date, I met Leban AKA Bain Yeah, Tha East Sider, L Boggie or Lee (his voicemail). I still question if I called the right number everytime.Regardless, of the date or which name you use, dude has been in my corner since day 1.We have so many memories together aka Eastside/ Orchard Mesa collaborations I could spend all day sharing. Our days in Boulder at Club 760 (our house)were some of the greatest even though we were ballin on a budget and Mikey D’s (thanks Uncle John and Aunt Deb).Time to get sentimental, Leban has been there any time I needed help, advice, a motivational speech, or just to vent.I figured I would need his help in all those areas over the next few months so he’s my best man. I appreciate all the luv, guidance & support on the biggest day of my life!
Maid of Honor
Where to even begin! My truest partner in crime! I love the friendship we have. I can’t think back on any point in my life where we were together and it was a dull moment. Even the ones where all we do is buy ice cream from gas stations to sit on my couch and recover from a night out. But I also know if I wake up at 3:00AM and declare we can make it to Drai’s after hours in Vegas you’d probably be the only one down. Your empathy is everything, and you know me better than anyone. You follow my lead sometimes a little too well and we may end up in some trouble (the night we never speak of) but regardless I know I’ll always have you on my side. When I’m having a hard day I can hear your voice say “eff that,” and it helps me move forward. I admire you always. Here’s to #where’smypantspart3

Marcus was my teammate longer than any other person Ive played sports with. We played on the same team in elementary, middle, high school, junior college and college. To have the opportunity to play on the same team as your brother is a blessing.Marcus probably knows more about me than any person on earth.I’m sure having lockers next to each other helped. My absolute favorite times were our days playing for the Buffs!Fun fact: Marcus is the person I have fist fought more than any other person in my life (Sorry Monte). The coolest thing I ever got to do with Marcus was graduate on the same day with our MBA.My parents had always said if I didn’t study harder he would catch up to me and well, he did. Thanks bro, for all the memories and being my teammate once again for biggest game of my life.

The first time I met you, you came over and wanted to go for a swim. I offered to let you borrow some swim clothes and when you said “no, gracias,” I figured you weren’t getting in and then YOU JUMPED IN THE POOL WITH JEANS ON. Instantly I thought, oh yes, she’s perfect. Thank you for loving my brother the way you do, for helping me stay grounded and on track and for becoming a part of our family so seamlessly it’s like you’ve always been there. I remember a time we all went out on a double date you look at Saul and almost instantly I knew he could never let you go. I wouldn’t let him. You’re incredible, and attentive, hardworking and mindful. Thank you for being the best sister ever and for bringing in the most handsome boy I’ve ever seen into this universe. You mean the world to me.

Being the youngest of my brothers probably hasn’t be the easiest thing for “Park Jones”Who?Park Jones! From the early days, he was a “willing” participant in many activities including receiving special haircuts, playing tackle football and doing whatever his older brothers thought was a good idea!No matter the circumstances,he wanted to be involved and I’ll cherish that.Parker was always my biggest fan during my football days and I have a picture of him on the front on the newspaper to prove it.My teammates got lots of laughs from that photo, but I got a sense of pride.Thank you also for allowing Lilly to be so involved in my life as well as joining in on the wedding festivities.Parker has been around for all the greatest moments and I’m grateful he will be there for this one.Love ya Jones!

My longest and dearest friend, where in the hell would I be in the world without you?! Back through high school I can remember long walks to school stopping at almost every fast food restaurant to make sure we had enough grub. Band practice, junk food eating and just overall high school scheming always involved you. We got into some trouble but the important thing in all of that is simply knowing we would always, no matter what, have each other’s back. We stayed connected through college even though I moved away. You love my family as I love yours. Thank you for blessing us with the task of serving as godparents to Mae. I love her bunches and can’t wait to continue to watch her grow. I hope to someday join you in motherhood but for now I’ll just enjoy spoiling Laylah as much as I can.

Curt is my lil brother but has been more of a big bro to me.Having Curtcito as a brother, I learned a lot of about life, math and how to iron a pair of dickies with perfect creases! I might have to hire him to iron my gear on the day of the wedding!Curtis was a hell of an athlete and played a super important role in my athletic career. He was my quarterback in middle school and helped me hone my skills as a WR. He threw me 26 TD passes most from our go to play “CD bomb”! In college school got cancelled for snow (it was also Jeremy’s b day). We decided to buy Coronas to celebrate Jer and have a snowball fight. Let's just say we dominated Marcus, Garret and Peter and Peter got a nice black eye from one of our patented Corona iceballs! Thanks lil big bro for taking part in me and Ari’s big day.

“Let’s be roomies,” you said. That's all I needed to hear. Simply knowing I wasn’t going to be alone down in Tucson was so incredibly relieving. You were my roommate, and are my friend and sister. Having lived together like we have I’ve got to say you probably know me best, you’ve seen me through some struggles and helped me through them like nobody else. I always think about how every summer we were never ready to move! We never really had furniture of our own which is fine I mean TV stands are overrated. I want to thank you for your endless love and patience. It kept me going even when I wanted (very badly) to quit. Thank you for continuing to hold me accountable, for understanding my intentions and for supporting me through those years and never judging. Westside roomies forever.

Me having known Javi since before he was in kindergarten, there are many stories I could share, but I’ll just mention a few of the most memorable. The first time I took Javi out in Old Town, he took his dress shirt off in the club (he did have a wife beater on underneath), put on his best gangsta walk, and let everyone know we were from Orchard Mesa! We definitely got kicked out of PCL that night 😊 The time we went out on Halloween as the “Three Amigos” and you didn’t make your curfew. Javi got grounded from Old Town forever for that night. Our spur of the moment trip to Rocky Point with our brothers and you being the translator for me. Make sure to ask Javi about the socks he left in San Diego that one time. It been a fun ride cuz and appreciate all the luv and support!

I am not sure that I would be able to pinpoint at what moment I met you. But I do know for sure a large part of my success and my life as I know it now, is due to you and your leadership. I will forever admire how you were able to change so many lives with LTA the way you did. It is truly where all my friends are from so thank you for not letting me be a loner lol. Your take on life, and your empathy are always admirable. You remind me constantly we are not alone in the universe and mindfulness really is a skill that must be worked on. Your energy is inspiring and since your move to Phoenix has happened I feel we’ve been able to connect on everything ranging from concerts to pool parties to wine and cheese nights and furniture shopping. Thank you for your constant encouragement and light.

The first time I met Saul, he walked in on me and Ari watching Zootopia, in the living room at their parent’s house, and said “sorry I’m not trying to cock block, hi am Saul”. Needless to say, I appreciated his friendliness and we have been brothers ever since. We have enjoyed so many fun times in the last 4 years (the wedding cake in your car might be the most memorable so far) and look forward to many more. Saul is now the youngest of my brothers which can be tough at times (ask Parker) but I know he’s ready having been Ari’s little brother. Thanks for everything and I couldn’t be more excited to have another brother.

I want to say it is all your fault that I think I can shuffle. When I'm sober I am awful and I know this. But two tequilas in and I think I’m the greatest shuffler around. This is not true, not even slightly. Regardless thank you for teaching me. Thank you for putting up with me too, I know I can be crazy sometimes but naturally when thinking through who I would ask to join me on my wedding day my mind went directly to you! I like to think we were instant friends and with every growing opportunity to connect I am thankful for your support and encouragement. I look forward to all of our adventures together with or without our dudes beloved. Thank you for keeping me on track and grounded too when I'm at my craziest. I appreciate you so very much for all you've done already. Besos.

The first night I met Hector I told him I would marry Ari! True story and glad it worked out as I planned/prayed. In my 13 years living in AZ, I haven’t made many true friends/family but Hector def makes that list. I appreciated you being down for a good time whether planned or spur of the moment. You were the first person I knew other than myself that rocked Bad Bunny on the regular. Funny how everyone plays his shit now. Thanks for encouraging me that first night to continue my pursuit of Ari. I can’t wait for our next crazy night in Old Town! (Is the wedding venue location considered Old Town?)

ISM. I can remember when we first started hanging out and just instantly feeling like, ok we get each other. Whenever we connect it's like we’re picking up right where we left off. You always come from a place of positivity and growth and if I need you I know you are number one on my list to run to. You tell me exactly what I need to hear and then right after tell me I’m being crazy and I’m probably overreacting. You’re down for anything, which I love, and can’t wait for us to connect next time to see what we get into, like stealing plastic aliens from El Hefe and trying to figure out how to break into Lollapaloza. It didn’t work but we tried. Thank you for being a voice of reason and being there and anywhere life takes us. Cheers to traveling and living unapologetically! Love you ism.

Bobby’s address was 520 Hwy 50 when we were kids. I know that because we were next door neighbors. Our houses were positioned next to the bakery, the Duck Pond Park and cemetery which might seem weird to some but was great for us! I think we might still owe on our tab at the bakery. The Duck Pond was perfect for a football game, sledding, scaring cars or other misc. activities. Living next to the cemetery meant less chances of someone calling the cops when we had houses parties, but the cops always seemed to show up anyway. I always enjoyed the rides to school even though I got to share the back seat of the caddy with the sub-woofer. Thanks, Digital for being one hell of a neighbor and a homie for life!

Oh how I’ve loved to watch you grow!! I know technically we aren’t sisters but it feels that way. Our families have grown so close together and I want you to know that I am here to support you in all your future adventures. Thank you for agreeing to be by my side for my big day. It means so much to me to have you there and I can’t wait to see you someday at yours. It has honestly been one of my most favorite things to watch you year after year become the young lady that you are. I love you very much!!

Lilly you are a truly the light of our days. When we lived together and had the opportunity to spend time I appreciated always being there for important milestones, UMMMM remember your first lost tooth and the pep rally we gave you to yank that thing out!? We also can't wait for the other important milestones in your life as they come! Thank you for always being a joy, for your honesty, and for just in general reminding us to take a step back every once in awhile, we love you!
Flower Girl
Our god-daughter! So happy to have been able to include you in our wedding day. We can't wait to continue to watch you grow and encourage you to do great things. Even in this last year we have to thank you already for the laughs, and time we've spent together. You truly are a gift.
