As our wedding day approaches, we wanted to share the journey that brought us together. While it all started with brief exchanges working in a busy restaurant in Mays Landing, the true beginning of our love story unfolded at a coffee shop in August of 2023. Luis had always hinted at needing an English tutor, which I firmly believe was his clever excuse to ask me out. One day, I decided to send Luis a friend request on Facebook, and from that moment on, we found ourselves talking every day. Our first official date was on August 2nd, 2023, at a Starbucks coffee shop. We spent hours talking and enjoying each other's company, and it became clear that something special was blossoming between us. On August 12th, 2023, Luis asked me to be his girlfriend, and without hesitation, I said yes. Fast forward to May 5th, 2024 – I arrived home to a heartwarming surprise. My family walked me down to Luis, who, in front of our loved ones, asked me to marry him. And with a heart full of love, I said YES! A million times YES! To this day, our morning coffee time remains the most important part of our day. It’s a moment we cherish and look forward to, a reminder of how our love story began and continues to grow.
