FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ian Singh and Ariel Ramoutar
FAQ ANSWERS:
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

In order for us to finalize an accurate count to provide to our venue & vendors, we kindly ask you to RSVP by Sunday May 25th, 2025. You can RSVP by heading over to the appropriate tab on the website to proceed.

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP on time?

Answer

To respect the time of our vendors & venue, we ask that everyone responds no later than May 25th, 2025. If you have not responded by the set time (without contacting us) we will count your response as a decline in attending. We ask that you do not show up at our venue, if you have not given an RSVP in the respected time, as we will have already provided a definite head count for our day to run smoothly alongside the wonderful venue staff. We will miss celebrating with you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see all of our friends and family dressed up for our big day! Everything you need to feel inspired is under the “Guest Attire Inspo” tab on our website. If you have any questions regarding what to wear, reach out! Please keep in mind, that our ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outdoors while heading indoors for our reception. Please dress accordingly!

Question

When do I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony is to begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Please arrive by 4:00 pm the latest to ensure you arrive comfortably. The entrance to the venue space will be used for the actual ceremony itself and be blocked off from late arrivals.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Free parking is available at our venue space. Guests can leave their cars overnight if needed, but must be picked up by 11:00 am the following day.

Question

Are there hotel accommodations?

Answer

Yes! Head over to the accommodations tab on the website, to inquire with our chosen hotel. The Element Vaughan Southwest is approximately 15 minutes away from our venue.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes please! While we have hired amazingly talented photographers and videographers to capture our day, as a couple we have decided to opt for a “plugged” wedding day. We want you to capture as many memories as you want, and see our special day through your point of view (as long as you share!). We kindly ask that you be mindful to refrain from entering the aisle to take any sort of media or obstruct the hired professionals with flash photography.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All invited guests will be listed on your invite and RSVP. If you receive a plus one it will be indicated on your invite! Unless specified on your formal invitation, we ask that you do not bring a guest. Due to our venue capacity we will not be accommodating additional guests. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We understand this may be upsetting, but hope you understand this is how we would like our day to run. We appreciate you making all necessary arrangements to celebrate with us.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Indicated on the RSVP page, we have asked that you email us at ianandarie.wedding@gmail.com in case our selected menu does not accommodate your food intolerances. Please let us know as soon as you RSVP so we can work with our venue well in advance. This extends to all guests including children.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You do know you are coming to a Trinidadian/ Guyanese wedding right? Yes, the drinks are on us, please party responsibly . Arrange your rides accordingly! Please do not drink & drive, you are most welcomed to leave your car overnight to ensure your safety.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your love, support and well-wishes for us are the most important gifts of all! If you would like to contribute in another way, a monetary gift will help us as we plan for our future together!
