Jonah and Arin met at Fox Valley Technical College during a Collegiate DECA Chapter meeting. They never thought of it as anything at first, as it was the occasional "Hi! How's it going?". A year later, Arin became Vice President of the Chapter and Jonah became the Official Hype-man. Shortly after the last ICDC Conference in 2023, Arin reached out to Jonah over SnapChat regarding a DECA matter. Soon after, Jonah took that opportunity and kept texting Arin up until their first date at Sushi Lovers. Dinners turned to hangouts; like fishing, hiking, and even some kayaking. Hangouts turned to talking and seeing each other everyday. On July 6th, 2023 Jonah asked Arin if she would be his girlfriend. On March 8th, 2025 Jonah got down on one knee and asked Arin to marry him, and that is why we are all here…. She said YES!
