We did not even know it was a date until we thought again about this day! Arifin picked me up from work and asked to have kebab for supper with him which I gladly accepted because who says no to food?! We talked for hours non-stop during the meal and somehow, it felt like we have known each other for years. We connected instantly. After a few more dates, we could not deny our feelings and Arifin asked me to be his girlfriend on the 21st July 2016. I have always felt butterflies whenever I thought about this day.

Brenda and I have always loved to do weekend road trips in Sydney together. One day, we asked some of our closest friends to have a group road trip to the Blue Mountains over the weekend. We went hiking around the Blue Mountains and when I found the perfect spot with a waterfall on the background, I went down on one knee and asked the question that changed the rest of our lives... Luckily, nobody noticed that I was sweating profusely before popping the question. Coincidentally, this is also the birthday of Brenda's dad!
