Together is a beautiful place to be!

We were both on Facebook dating app in June 2024. At first Trey had trouble getting on the Facebook dating app. His phone didn’t show that he had that feature until later. We talked for a couple of days and he stood out most to me because I could tell he was sincere about his relationship with God. Then I was MIA (missing in action) for nearly a week. He maybe thought I was a robot or im sure questioned how he talked with someone then gone for a whole week. He attempted to message me and couldn’t. My phone broke and I had to get it repaired and get all my stuff back on it. Once I was able to get back on, I put at the top of my profile that I was talking to this great guy and would like to continue talking with him. We can’t search people on the Facebook dating. So all I know is by the grace of God, we found each other again on the dating site. Talked nearly every day for a while. Traded phone numbers and then our first date was Diddys yogurt shop. The cashier lady asked if this was our first date. He told her yes and we decided to sit outside (haha) . I was a bit shy at first but as we continued to talk, I got out of my comfort zone and talked a bit more. We went on several dates before we decided to officially date. February 12th is our official day as a couple.

Brief back story first… February 14th was our first date as a couple. We looked very nice and had a really fun date. We talked about what we desired in relationships, family, and all our desires to put God first and in the center of everything. Fast forward to April, we started looking at rings. We first looked in the places at the mall and there were a few I liked but didn’t fully stand out yet. Trey started getting exact details I liked in a ring. He’s the best! He saw one online and sent it to me to see if I liked it. I knew I liked that one from the start, so we went to look at it and the sweet clerk lady had two that I liked in her hand. She asked which one do I imagine Trey having when he proposes to me. I pointed to the one I loved. That was the one. Oh! And Trey asked both my step dad and dad for my hand/ their blessing in marriage, which was actually a desire on my heart that I talked to God about before we met. 💕 I want to also share the twist in my ring to me represents the covenant between us and God. Then when the band is on it, it will be 3 in one. God is 3 in one. 💕 Fast forward to May 1. I met up with Trey and he had beautiful orchids he gifted me with. We started to head out but he made what seemed to me an unexpected stop at the time. He wanted to show me this place with a giant cross and some benches around it. It was a beautiful place. He said I like to come here to pray sometimes. I thought that was cool. He held my hands and said he wants our relationship to begin and end with the Cross (Christ Jesus). He asked if I want to pray with him. With a smile I said yes. We prayed and right after prayer, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Best yes of my life!
