Driving the Clarence drive from Hermanus to Franschhoek to hopefully spot another whale on the way. Visit Kogelberg Nature Reserve We’ll be soaking in stunning scenery while enjoying great wine along the way 🍷 All aboard the wine hop-on, hop-off tram — the perfect blend of views and flavors. MONTAGU -9 & 10 September: visit Tim's parents' home town
9 September: On the way to Montagu we will stop at Viljoensdrift, a lovely wine farm on the Breederivier, and have some lunch. Take a sunset safari at Aquila Private Game Reserve (starting at 15:00) 10 September: - Protea Tractor Farm: starting at 10 AM, we will enjoy a typical tractor tour through the Langeberg mountains concluding with a lovely potjiekos! 🚜 - In the evening, join us on the Montagu Ghost tour. Learn more about all the ghosts roaming through the small town on a Dutch bike, as they call it 👻 ACTIVITIES There are multiple options to choose from if you want to skip the safari or do something after the farm drive: - Step back in time and rent a vintage car with American Dream Cars and stroll the Route 62. - Rock Climbing (2.5 hours - beginner or 5 hours - all levels) - Hiking -> Bloupunt; Cogmanskloof; Badskloof - Hot Springs - Winelands Horse Trail - Archery - Mountainbiking
