Well… it all started in what we affectionately call “Summa ’22,” the summer of 2022. When Terrence saw me in my best friend’s Facebook story. One simple introduction turned into those old-school phone conversations where you’d fall asleep on the phone, hours on the patio listening to music, and laughing about absolutely everything. Somewhere between friendship and all those conversations, we found home in each other. Our love came easy, but life hasn’t always been. We’ve walked through career changes, heartbreaking losses, depression, grief, and a few curveballs we never saw coming. But through every season, God’s grace has carried us and shown us what his love looks like. Along the way, our families blended beautifully, and now we’re excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife. We’re trusting God with our future, believing Him for the day we call Texas home, and holding onto the faith that His best is still ahead. If this journey has taught us anything, it’s that God’s greatest blessings often show up when you least expect them. Our prayer is that our marriage always feels a little like “Summa ’22” and reflects the kind of love described in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7. A love that is patient and kind, not jealous or boastful, not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every season.
