Our Story

Our story actually began at The Rockleigh. The date was April 6, 2014 at Liat and Robbie’s wedding. We had a great time dancing but the timing just wasn’t right. Flash forward to 2020 where fate and Paige Guy had other plans! So, May 20, our first date we laughed together and got to know each other. I even convinced the waiter to give me a cactus cup as a keepsake because I felt strongly that Tamir was a keeper. Day turned to dusk and as the stars were coming out, ten hours just flew by. We discovered our mutual love of travel, running and food. Well, certain foods! We love running together, but in a very competitive way...where ultimately I win. I even became a hockey fan, earning my first Bruins jersey. Next step is getting a Bruins player jersey! Tamir made my birthday extra special by taking me to a new 5 star restaurant where all my favorite foods were served that night. Luckily, the table was just steps from our couch. What better way to cement love than with food. Did someone say pizza? We had fun doing a pizza tour in the city. It was one of many of our spontaneous outings and we didn’t have to twist each other’s arm’s, I did mention it was for pizza, right? But, we highly recommend staying away from any 99 cent pizza. PROPOSAL aka he asked...she said yes! Was I expecting the proposal, this day, this time? Well, yes and no. I had been hoping for it at different times before. But today was the perfect day, the perfect moment. While I noticed Tamir was a bit nervous that day I was caught by complete surprise. It was a beautiful day in Cape May. Tamir was setting up a lovely picnic for the two of us and I turned around for just a second or two and as I turned back around he was on one knee and he asked me to marry him. Yes!was the word of the day. Marriage has a nice ‘ring’ to it. So join us in the countdown until we say “I do”.
