Our Next Adventure Begins!

Once upon a time, Arielle got a job at a hotel front desk. Little did she know that Jon would be her trainer on the first day. She made an impression right away as someone who doesn't take herself too seriously and can make the best of stressful situations. Over the course of working together we became friends and before long Arielle was introduced to my family and friends all at once in an intimidating situation most people would have used as grounds to jump ship! Arielle stuck around and the friendship turned into 5 years of love and companionship that has withstood the test of challenges many may never need to go through in their lives.

Although Arielle had "literally been waiting years" for a proposal. Jon somehow managed to surprise her while on vacation. It may have resulted in the most unprepared photo op, but it was a beautiful moment we shared nonetheless. While on a zipline excursion in Costa Rica, Jon coordinated with the staff of the facility (all in Spanish and directly in front of Arielle who was none the wiser) to find a good spot along the tour to drop the knee. When it happened, Arielle burst into tears so suddenly and forcefully that anxiousness and anticipation gave way to fear as Jon asked "are you OK?" before even asking the question. Arielle was OK, and surprised about the proposal. She said yes!
