we're getting married!

Arielle's mom, Linda, would always cook breakfast for Jared's grandfather, Nathan. Linda even says she remembers Jared's mom, Mandi, being pregnant with Jared. Years later, she can recall little Jared following Nathan around. Summer, Jared's aunt and Arielle's bridesmaid, and Arielle grew up together. They went to church together and obsessed over High School Musical. So, maybe it was fate? Jared and Arielle met in 2018 at Halesford Baptist Church during Youth Group. (Fun Fact: We are getting married here!) Though the exact moment is fuzzy, Jared recalls having a "crush" on Arielle throughout their time here, specifically at camp. Once COVID hit, life took us different directions. In 2024, Jared started working at McDonald's with Arielle. A couple months after he started working there, John, started playing matchmaker, saying "You're both sad and lonely!" We continued as friends, picking on each other at work and texting in our free time. Usually talking about work or Sabrina Carpenter. Then, one day after work we were hanging out and picking on each other. Jared picked Arielle up and threw her over his shoulder and the rest is history and John can pat himself on the back. We welcomed our little boy, Jordan Ty Phillippe, on July 16th, 2025. Jared proposed on Christmas Day later that year.
