It all started with an app.... and a technical error on Jack's side. Without it we wouldn't have ever met. After we matched on the app, we agreed to a dinner date in downtown Roswell, at Lola's Burger and Tequila bar, and from there "the rest is history". We had bonded and fell in love over our shared passion for the University of Georgia football, Atlanta Braves, and Country music. Less than two weeks after our first date, we made the relationship official on July 5th, 2023 and said "I love you" 4 days later. From all the amazing days and love we have shared our connection has only grown stronger and deeper. From there, we decided to move in together, get our puppy Duke, and have Jack officially become Penguin and Salem's (the cats) dad. Even though we knew from the very beginning that we want to spend the rest of our lives together, Jack had a lot of planning and saving to do first. Then after all the planning and ask permission from her father, Jack set up the perfect night. On November 16, 2024 he told tell her he won a helicopter ride over Atlanta and propose immediately after they landed. Then we would celebrate by going to our favorite restaurant Hugos Oyster Bar in Roswell. Arielle noticed the weeks leading up to it Jack seemed to be acting a bit strange and couldn't understand what might be wrong with him. Going to the helicopter tour of the city she had no idea what that night would hold for them. Even though somewhat suspicious at the beginning of the tour when we were taking a picture outside of the helicopter, he still did not ask the question yet. Little did she know at the very end that's when he was going to propose when the tour was over. Upon landing, unfortunately, did not go according to his plan and was not able to propose at the airport. With all of his plans out the window he had to scramble for a new idea, that meant somehow at dinner at the oyster bar he would have to find the perfect moment. Going to Hugo's has always always been a special place for us. We have celebrated birthdays, promotions, and other special occasions. Once we arrive to the restaurant and took our seats, she immediately noticed that Jack seem nervous and into his phone. Little did she know he was texting family and friends trying to gather suggestions on how to make this night everything they wanted and dreamed of. Jack tried to get help from the staff discreetly, with no success. He kept ordering food and desserts until finally she had to go to the bathroom. He knew this would be his only shot to make this happen. Jack went up to the hostess stand and laid his new plan with her. He said," when we leave I am going to ask you to take a picture of me and my girlfriend, but I need you to take a video, because I am going to propose to my girlfriend." As we were leaving, he executed his plan and said, " Hey babe, want to take a picture out front?" She thought he must not have liked any of the pictures we took at the helicopter tour, but said yes to another picture outside on the front porch. As we walked outside he asked her which side do you want to be on and as she responded he stuck out his hand asking her to "wait". She stood there confused as he dropped dow to a knee and asked the love of his life to spend forever with him! Through the happy tears, she said "yes!" Now we are planning our dream wedding and cannot wait to spend forever together.
