It all started in June 2011 when Jack and his brothers joined the swim team at the Long Island Yacht Club, where Arielle had been swimming since she was 5 years old. Arielle and Jack’s friendship blossomed over the next few years, keeping in touch over the winter texting every day and spending hours video chatting on the new Facebook video chat feature. Fast forward to two best friends saying goodbye before Arielle goes off to college. Jack decided he couldn’t let her go without telling her he had feelings for her. We lit paper lanterns on the bay that night and think about how those moments changed everything for us. When Arielle came home for fall break in October of 2014, Arielle and Jack’s romance began. Over the years we’ve shared so much love and countless hours of laughter, eaten our way through so many wings and pizza places, explored different cities and countries, and built a life we’re so grateful for. In October of 2024, at the Long Island Yacht Club, with a brand new box of paper lanterns, Jack asked Arielle to spend the rest of their lives together. It was a very simple question! We’ve done long distance across countries, states, and counties and we’re looking forward to moving our distance to zero! This year, we’re so excited to spend time with all of the important people who have helped shape our love story and begin this new chapter of our lives together!
